Assessment Procedure

How we assess each young person’s needs

We base entry decisions on how suited we are to support your adolescent’s needs. We’ve developed sensitive assessment methods that build understanding rather than create stress:

  • Initial consultation

Receive guidance for your family in a complimentary consultation call where we’ll discuss your young person’s challenges, your family’s goals, and what type of support may be a suitable fit.

  • Motivational Call

Your young person connects directly with our team in a call designed to build trust, address concerns, and open the door to change.

  • Intake Asseesment

Through our comprehensive intake assessment, we’ll identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities—ensuring nothing is overlooked in creating their path forward.

  • Programme Design

Receive a bespoke programme tailored specifically to your young person’s goals, therapeutic needs, and any external commitments like school or university.

  • Begin The Transformation

Step into the programme with confidence, clarity, and a complete support system in place—ready to achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes.

Exit Procedure

Preparing You for Life After Lions Campus

At Lions Campus, the exit procedure is as important as the intake process. Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition into life beyond our programme, with careful consideration of education, careers, personal goals, and any ongoing therapeutic support needed.

Our case managers prepare a comprehensive discharge summary and meet with each young person for a closing meeting. Together, they identify key pillars for continued recovery and ensure the right support systems are in place for sustained success.

Flexible Step-Down Option

We understand that sometimes a gradual transition is important. For this reason, we offer flexible step-down options such as transitioning from residential to our day programme and structured home leave. We also have an extensive network of coaches who can provide specialised coaching to support this transition, ensuring young people feel confident and prepared as they take each stride forward.

Educational Pathways Through Lionhart Education

Your journey doesn’t end at discharge; it evolves. Through our sister company, Lionhart Education, we provide practical support for the next academic chapter, whether that involves finding the right school, applying to university, identifying vocational courses or finding a job. Our advisors help navigate applications and interviews, ensuring young people step into educational environments where they can continue to flourish.
