At Lions Campus, our admissions process is designed to ensure each young person receives tailored support that aligns with their recovery journey. We take a personalised approach to understand their goals, assess their needs, and provide a nurturing environment for their growth and integration into our community. Below is a brief overview of our comprehensive admissions process.
Initial Call
The admissions process at Lions Campus begins with an initial call. During this call, we gather more information about the inquiry and understand what the young person hopes to achieve from their time at Lions Campus. With the provided consent, we coordinate with primary providers and any clinical practitioners involved to establish the individual's stage in their journey and determine if Lions Campus is a suitable fit.
In-depth Intake Assessment
Next, a member of our team will meet with the young person for an in-depth intake assessment. This meeting is crucial for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the individual's current stage in their recovery journey. The assessment helps us evaluate whether our programme aligns with their needs and if we can provide the appropriate support.
Tenancy Agreement
When a fellow decides to join residentially, once it is determined that Lions Campus is a suitable fit, a tenancy agreement is drawn up. This agreement establishes clear guidelines for the individual's stay at Lions Campus. The minimum length of stay is 12 weeks, but extensions can be made as necessary.
Beginning The Programme
On arrival, fellows will meet with their Key Support Worker and go through a thorough induction process. During this induction, they will be introduced to a companion who will support them in integrating into the community and provide ongoing assistance throughout their stay.
