Admissions Process

We use a client-focused approach where our programme moulds around the client, rather than the client moulding to a programme. We understand that recovery is not a homogenous process, and so the programme we have established offers variety and choice in what adolescents do on a day-to-day basis.
1

Initial Call

It’s important that we understand what it is the young person is hoping to gain from Lions Campus. Consent provided, we liaise with primary providers and family practitioners to establish what stage the individual is at and whether Lions Campus would benefit them.

2

In-depth Intake Assessment

At this stage the team will meet/call the family to gain a more in-depth picture of where the individual is at in their recovery journey, and how our team and programme can best support them during their stay with us.

3

Tenancy Agreement

A tenancy agreement is then drawn up to establish clear guidelines of the individual’s stay at Lions Campus. We operate a strict no drink and drugs policy and therefore test residents regularly. The minimum length of stay is 12-weeks, however Fellows can extend this if they feel they need more time with us.

4

Beginning The Programme

Although residents will be staying with us full time, families have a significant role to play in supporting their child’s recovery. Throughout the programme, we involve the family, and families are able to stay in contact with and visit their child during their stay.
